Every spring, we do a celebration called the Spring Swing that showcases our sports successes for the year, sort of similar to Hoopcoming; however, it doesn’t involve basketball. This year, on April 10th, Friday at 8:30 AM, we have a spirit assembly in the gym where we give recognition to our spring sport seniors. There are only 2 seniors for spring athletics in golf, and that is only 2 golf players.
This will be our last volleyball match for the season and will start at 4:00 PM in the gym, so let’s give them our enthusiastic spirit, BULLDOGS!!!! Our team will be going against Paidia Liberal Arts Academy, so things bring motivation.
This week is a spring swing spirit week, dress to what you desire on the spirit day theme. On Monday, April 6th, PJs & Pals, Tuesday, April 7th, West Coast Vs Wild West, Wednesday, April 8th, On Wednesdays we wear Pink and the Stand for the Silent Presentation for Highschool, Thursday, April 9th, Anything but a backpack, and last but not least, Friday, April 10th, Red Out to bring school spirit for the game.
Note about the presentation this Wednesday, a guest speaker, Kirk Smalley from Stand for the Silent, will give a presentation for all high school and Junior High students. Parents or guardians can opt out of high school students by filling out this form to make sure your child is qualified for this brief presentation. For JH, parents or guardians can fill out and opt-in their students right here.
Also, there will be no tailgate after school. If students on campus would like to stay for the game. They will have to stay in the gym until the game begins. Note to Junior High and Lower Schoolers, you need to be accompanied by a teacher, if you’re staying for the game too, so pretty, pretty please with a cherry on top, don’t you forget it.
