Men’s volleyball, the sport that arrives every spring at New Way Academy, features an all-boys team this year.  Last year’s volleyball coach, Ms. McCann, is returning, along with Coach Brodie. There are also many new players this year, making the season even more exciting. These new team members join returning veterans from last year, including Teddy, Mario, Kai, Mark, Grant, Ira, Ruben, Beau, and Louie. The influx of new players will bring energy and hustle to the team. With the boys’ team now competing in junior varsity instead of varsity, New Way’s chances are higher due to evenly-matched competition. This also means there are more opportunities for new players to shine and make an impact on New Way’s volleyball team. Some brand-new members who could make a significant difference include Jack, Jude, Darryl, John, Tate, Cole, and others who will bring a lot of impact to the team. There is a very positive outlook for what this team can accomplish, and there is hope that they can make a push for the playoffs or even make a run at the state championship in volleyball. Overall, there is a lot of excitement for the volleyball season, and it promises to be a fun and exciting year to see what this team can do.
