Mr. Lugo is full of energy and school spirit.

Coach Lugo has been an amazing person since the beginning. He has always been respectful and the funniest teacher I have met in this school. And most importantly, it’s how he makes the students feel the safest; he has always been understanding with every student in New Way. He always knows what to say to students. He’s sarcastic, so don’t take anything personally. 

The reason that I picked Coach Lugo was that he stood out to me when I first arrived at New Way. He was always there to offer me suggestions on how to improve my work and how to encourage myself more, because he knew I had more potential and believed I could achieve more. He never gave up on what I find passionate about; he is really supportive of me and what I do. His personality is very energetic, he’s kind and supportive, and most importantly, very patient. If you’re in Coach Lugo’s seminar, you can perform well by putting forth your best effort and submitting your assignments on time! What he loves about being a teacher is the opportunity to educate and support young people while making learning enjoyable for everyone. 

Here are some interesting things you didn’t know about Coach Lugo, or you did. He has been teaching at New Way for 9 years, he is a Phoenix Suns fan, and he was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He loves working out and playing sports. His hobbies and interests include spending time with family, working out, playing sports, trying new restaurants, and playing video games. 

It has been a wonderful experience having Coach Lugo last year, and I hope everyone else enjoys Coach Lugo’s teaching style as much as I did.
