Mr. Brodie is a digital media and graphic design teacher here at New Way which focuses on teaching kids how to design, edit, and make photos and videos.
What makes graphic design special is doing stuff like making posters and album covers, and what makes digital media special is editing videos and pictures and making them sound a lot more unique than they were before.
Later in life, digital media can enhance the quality of life, bring you more friends through the work you make, and give you more freedom to be yourself. And later in life, graphic design can lead to high-demand designing, freelancing through designing, and taking a creative direction for yourself.
Daisy DeLeon thinks graphic design is very fun and lets our creativity run free with all the fun and creativity they use for it.
Lia Juarez thinks graphic design is really great because she finds everything she does very amusing with all the projects that they do like making posters, ads, and logos.
Jackson Bays thinks digital media is very fun and creative because he enjoys editing pictures and videos and because he tries to enjoy everything while it lasts for his senior year.
Mr. Brodie teaches this elective to teach kids how to do graphic design and digital media, like making art on a computer, and how to edit photos and videos. He loves making things on computers, and he loves to share that with other students. Mr. Brodie hopes multiple students join any of his classes every year, and I hope many kids do any of them as well. But remember learning graphic design and digital media can take a while, especially if you’re new to digital art. Give it your best effort.
