For my final regular article of the 2025–2026 school year, I wanted to dive deep into this school year and talk about it overall, focusing on the good parts of the year. First, I would like to mention the best moment of each class for me as part of the good. In first-period World History, the best moment for me was all of the memes and jokes put in Mr. Boone’s slides. For my second-period Strength Training class, I would say it was probably arm day, as I love the bench press; it’s my favorite exercise in that class. For my third-period English class, I would say it’s when we have class Blookets; those days are always fun. For my fourth-period High School Seminar 2 class, I would say it’s probably learning about each other’s journeys and how we can impact them in a positive way. For my fifth-period Biology class, I loved it when we dissected a chicken, which for me was the best part of that class this school year. For my seventh-period Broadcast Journalism class, it was enjoying writing about article topics that I would love to write about, and for my final, eighth-period class, it was sitting next to Grace and Isley and getting to work with them on math homework during class.

There are two more to mention here: Speech and OT. Both of those classes, which happened during second-period Strength Training, were some of my favorite classes of this year. Unfortunately, they’re over, but I will not forget the amount of fun I had in both of those classes, so I would like to give a special thanks to both Ms. Smith and Ms. Warren for being the best Speech and OT teachers I could have asked for. 

This section of my article will be my favorite moments from this school year in chronological order. The best moment this year for me at New Way was asking Isley out to prom and her saying, “Sure, I’d love to do that.” That had to have been the best moment of this year for me. My second-best moment of this year was making friends with Harrison and Analise and reuniting with a longtime friend of mine, Grace. That was also amazing. My third-best moment of this school year was going to watch one of my favorite K-pop groups in concert with Grace, which I believe deserves a complete mention in this article for my final. My fourth-best moment of this year was discovering Murder Drones with help from Isley and Harrison. Let’s just say I’m obsessed with that show now, and Hot Topic—I will mention that too.

For the final section here, I would like to give recognition to Mr. McCann and Mr. Brodie for coaching volleyball. I love playing on the team, and I will return next year for year three of volleyball. That’s all. Thank you for reading my final article of this year.
