The second annual ice cream social has come and gone, a mouth-watering tradition in which New Way’s new students have ice cream together and meet. The student leadership team served up some pretty high-quality chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Newbies also had the opportunity to ask for some toppings like gummy worms, chocolate, and strawberry syrup. “ I think that a lot of kids had a lot of fun. Most of the ice cream is gone, so it must have been a blast.”, Mrs. Richmond commented as she watched the event progress.

They had some socializing minigames to enjoy along with your ice cream as well. “The food is good, the people are great, and the work isn’t too bad,” stated Mason Feria, New Way flag football player, as he enjoyed a frozen treat.
We also have something from Zachary Hamacher, resident artist.
Q: How has your first year been so far?
A: “Good. I’ve gotten good at talking to people and made friends like Miles and Mason.”
As all of you know, being a new student is scary. The new environment and people can be daunting at times.
