Once a year, New Way Academy has a kickoff every fall season on the backfield. The Fall Kick-Off is New Way’s primary auction and fundraising event for the school year. The fair-like setting also has many activities, like bounce houses, a cake walk, Bingo Bonanza, a petting zoo, face painting, a photo booth, plenty of family fun, and a delectable buffet from Urban Phoenix again, catering with a delicious fall spread. It will all be western and fall-themed, and it will be on November 7th from 5:30-8:00 PM. This will be our 16th fall kickoff. We are excited and honored to have our kickoff thrive throughout the New Way campus.
Also, don’t miss out on our silent auction that will be going around 11 AM to 8 PM, if they win one of them will win a prize and the prizes will be a 1 carload pass for Bearizona Wildlife Park in Williams, AZ, a relaxing 3-night stay at cabin in Lakeside, AZ, a 1 night stay and breakfast for 2 at Wigwam Resort, and a 5 night stay at Mayan Luxury Resort in Mexico. Typically, the auction is held in the Spring; however, moving in conjunction with the fall events around New Way, so make sure to join the auction and kickoff early this week.
Some of you may know why Fall Kickoff happens every autumn. Well, it’s because of logistical reasons, like the typical shift in schedules from a long and relaxing summer vacation, aligning with a fresh start of a new academic year or fiscal cycle, and to reduce competition with holidays. This particular timing creates concentration and motivation for
the environment in our school for setting goals and building a cooperative relationship or friendship with people who create positive moments.
We think it is important to have a Fall Kickoff because it is a key part to gain field position as a strategy for our Bulldogs, which means having the ability to control the football on the field to create a more favorable scoring opportunity for their offense while putting the opponent’s offense at a greater disadvantage. It can be a source of excitement and happiness for the fans and players. We want to build a community with others and socialize with other people. Also, the time to forget about all the bad things from the past and just let loose and forgive, and to have the time of your life with family and friends.
