I think everyone should learn how to crochet. Many people already know how to. Usually, it’s super easy when you’re an expert at it for a year, but when you’re a beginner it’s not as easy as you think it would be. It usually takes patience, concentration, and confidence for this kind of project if you ask me.
For my advice, if you guys are a beginner or not just have patience; it is always the key to accomplishing anything that is around you and never give up on what you accomplished. Also another thing; it can be very entertaining when you start to do it honestly, plus it can be useful for winter, fashion, etc. Some people get it mixed up with knitting, but there’s a huge difference between them; knitting is much harder than crocheting so you’re supposed to use 2 knitting needles to make essentials like beanies, sweaters, or gloves and there are a variety of pattern when you’re in the making of it. While with crocheting you just get 1 crochet hook and you’re technically making knots in the process of making it; so this is why there is a huge difference between knitting and crocheting.
Some of the materials that I suggest to get when you’re first starting; is to get it from Hobby Lobby or Joann’s or Micheal’s. Maybe Walmart as well, but it’s up to you. Also, get the right size hook. I would suggest using a 5.mm hook when you’re a beginner; if you want to learn how to do it, go on YouTube or find someone who knows how to crochet. What I suggest that you should start making whenever you’re ready is a beanie or a granny square. Granny squares are usually easy when you get the hang of it for a long time, also don’t make your loop too loose or too tight; you gotta make it just right while you’re in the process of crocheting.
Sometimes if you make your loop tight or loose it might turn out bad when you’re finished with it in the end. So make sure you’re doing it the right way and it’s okay if you mess up on it, plus it’s not like it’s the end of the universe. I suggest going back to where you messed up and redoing it to make it look better and approved when you’re making it for a friend, a family member, a teacher, or your pet.
Whatever this specific crocheting project is on; get the right hook size and it depends if it’s on a video or somebody in person with somebody that is teaching you the steps on what materials you need and on what you’re supposed to do on it. Also, you don’t have to make it for anyone if you don’t want to or if you want to, technically you can make something for yourself or for entertainment and decoration for something important as well. Also, you can switch colors on your project too. If you have gained a new interest in crocheting, it’s best t look up video tutorials or find somebody that you know who can change string colors on crocheting.
