This weekend the NBA trades have been one wild roller coaster. We may of just had the biggest trade of the 21st century happen between the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and Utah azz, as the Dallas Mavericks traded NBA superstar Luka Dončić and Markieff Morris for a first-round pick, Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and Jalen Hood-Schifino. Not only was this trade shocking but downright mind-numbing to a lot of people on the other side of things.
The San Antonio Spurs also made a blockbuster trade to acquire De’aaron Fox in a 3 team trade that included the Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings. The Kings traded De’arron Fox for the Chicago Bulls’ Zack Levine and the Spurs only gave up a first-round pick. Overall this trade was a win for the Spurs and Bulls, while I personally think that the Kings take a small downgrade to their roster, but only time can tell
In conclusion, the Kings and Mavericks both took L’s at the trade deadline, but the Mavericks made the bigger mistake, but there is still a lot more that will happen, and I will keep you updated when the trade deadline passes.
